What makes this worth while research is that you probably only need a milliliter or two of the beer to do the research, so why waste all the rest of that lager? Had a colleague once that worked on gall bladder problems of swine, so after an experiment was finished, there was a lot of ham and bacon to go around. Then we had a fellow who worked on the pineal gland of lobster, so none of the good parts were affected in any way; waste not want not.
