Back at FoS - once again
The Phytophactor is once again back to being published at Field of Science (FoS), although still not an official part of the collective. The change to a newer format was necessary to make the transition easier, and especially to bring along all the botany blog feeds. The Phactor has been assured it is only a matter of time, perhaps indicating a probation, a super, double secret probation, so please nothing but classy, erudite comments from the botanical rabble until the voting is complete and my presence is official.

I've received an e-mail from someone who reads both your blog and PATSP, who says that since you changed the format, s/he can no longer see anything on The Phytophactor: s/he's getting a plain black screen instead. I have no idea why this would be the case or whether it's happening to anybody else, but I told him/r I'd pass the message on. If you want to talk to the person directly, e-mail me (mhrsubjuncthive@aol.com without the 2 h's) and I'll give you his/r e-mail address.
Thanks mr._s. That does indeed sound like a problem, and according to a local geek most likely the result of a very old version of a browser that doesn't know how decode this new template format. Sounds like plain white bread may be necessary.
Okay, the latest incarnation is legible (in IE9 & Firefox 6.0) and not hard on the eyes. However, the subtitle in the header is difficult to read again.
S/He reports that "all is well again on the Phytophactor front (or is
it phront?)."
Your "a plant pundit..." tagline is nearly invisible on the flowers, though.
The header's legible now. :)
