Wow, Hannity, one of the prime reasons for it's low batting average (Phlox News) loses a sponsor and conservatives (anyone actually is OK) smash Keurig Coffee machines (environmentally stoopid), so it's a real two-fer! This may also mean that both Hannity and Keurig are banned in Hamburg Germany. Some people have standards.

PHLOX news tells it like it isn't
PHLOX news tells it like it isn't because conservatives prefer to hear conservative ideology and rhetoric rather than facts, and as a result the political debate is getting more polarized because the other end of the political spectrum prefers more factual reporting of the news. Too bad this means conservatives are ignoring reality, living in their own Reaganland, itself a fantasy construct. Perhaps you suspected this, or else you think this another conspiracy by the left-wing media elite, but Pew research has the data, which interestingly enough will only be believed by half of the political spectrum. Dang, but this is why the election season is so gloomy. As an example, our local political Rauner-round is telling people it's class warfare to attack him for having made millions of dollars and being very rich. That's the rhetoric. Here's the reality. What this very rich guy doesn't get is that he is totally, completely, magnificently out of touch with ordinary people, let alone the very poor. The only surprise so far is that he hasn't said, "Let them eat cake."
What a batting average!
.280, a respectable, although not great major league baseball batting average. Oh, but this isn't about baseball, it's about accurate reporting of climate science news on PHLOX News. Yes, that's right, good old PHLOX News is presenting inaccurate information about climate news over 70% of the time, and just like in baseball that's how many times you strike out. So, if you're a PHLOX News fan, a regular listener who relies on the PHLOX network for information, then you probably don't know nuttin. And that's because in the classic neocon tradition, you know your conclusion and you make up "facts" to fit it, and then you call it "news" for the neo-gullible.
NPR - Yes! Phlox News - What?
This is just great. Watch Phlox News and know less! Now presently no evidence is suggesting that regular doses of Phlox News actually damages your brain, it is now certain that you get less accurate information to put in your brain than from any other major news source. In fact, people who use Phlox News as their primary source of information actually did worse than people who watched no news whatsoever. Ouch! The old no-news-at-all control! And of course NPR and Sunday morning talk radio provide so much more. No wonder the Phactors are so well informed! However, and this is the basic gotcha on just about everybody, people who watch the Daily Show do almost as well as NPR listeners, so imagine how well us NPR + John Stewart combo listeners will do. It is of course sad that politics and the affairs of state in our country are such that making fun of them is one of the most informative things you can do. It does however worry me to find people who don't think the Daily Show is funny, or that politicians don't deserve to be ridiculed. After all if they only would stop saying and doing stupidly funny things.
Now take recent events here in Lincolnland as an example. The GnOPe is hot to win the next gubernatorial election, so they are fielding a slate of woeful hopefuls, none more hopeful nor more woeful than our current state treasurer Dan Rathernot. At a time when no public allegations had been made against him, Dan calls a news conference to say that the allegations made against him that no one knew about were actually a politically motivated dirty trick by one of his opponents. What allegations, Dan? We're not hear to talk about any allegations, just about that it reflects badly on my opponent. Huh? The man regularly gets outsmarted by fence posts. Hmm, not a good example because it really isn't very funny and is just a sad example of the Peter Principle really.

O'Really Out-Foxed Again
You can be sure it's all just a big mistake and somebody will admit to showing the wrong video, but Bill O'Really and the other Fox News commentator seem to take it seriously, but as pointed by sharp-eyed viewers, this video that purports to show outside agitators causing trouble in Wisconsin, who Bill calls "professional left-wingers", shows palm trees in the background at 0:16 seconds. Now Madison Wisconsin is a lovely city with nice lakes and lots of trees, but palm trees, in Wisconsin, in a zone 4 winter? Come on. People in the know have been saying Fox just makes it up, so when some angry crowd scene is needed to make their fiction seem real, who cares where it comes from. Maybe Bill will make a public retraction. HT to Mike.
Pay attention folks. O'Really isn't the only conservative who just makes it up; here's Hucklebee going on and on about Obama growing up in Kenya, you know which is a lot like Indonesia and Hawaii and sort of near by. He misspoke, of course. This just shows what kind of president Huck'll be (cute, eh?).
