Well, it is a Turkish beer named after the city of Ephesus but enjoyed in many countries. Continent would be a matter of dispute between those who think it is Asia and those who think it is Europe.
Oh, so very close, Pat. While you might think Asia because of the use of rice in the making of this beer, the Bosporus is considered the dividing line between Europe and Asia, and Turkey straddles this line. However beer drinking is not as prevalent on the more conservative Asian-Islamic side as it is on the more worldly European side, so this glass of beer must be sitting west of the Bosphorus in Europe.
No more clues? Everyone else appears to be on holiday.
All quiet on the eastern (or western) shore. It has been quiet comment-wise, and you deserve another clue or a definitive answer, but maybe this will get Aunt Nan to use the internet to get out of OK and tell us what the answer is.

Thanks. No, never had a link to vomit plant, but here it sounds like common names have been confused. Vomit plant/fruit (noni, cheesefruit) doesn't look like much in flower. Sounds like someone was talking about a Titan arum, and while they smell like a rotting carcus, that's not the same kind of putrid odor that induces vomiting.
