The wicked plant display is planned in anticipation of the author, Amy Stewart, giving a lecture/presentation at our institution. But not having read her book, and not having time right now to do so, this seemed a reasonable approach. Hopefully both it and she will be delightfully wicked. The Phytophactorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11064894836161407416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7565734316555677541.post-183275714586547842012-02-03T12:49:21.253-06:002012-02-03T12:49:21.253-06:00Wicked Wanda wick waters wisteria?Wicked Wanda wick waters wisteria? The Phytophactorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11064894836161407416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7565734316555677541.post-29295414708359951832012-02-03T12:03:38.064-06:002012-02-03T12:03:38.064-06:00Are you sure she's not just peddling plants wa...Are you sure she's not just peddling plants watered by wicking:

http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/propa/msg1217461811874.htmlnycguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02799769428539687855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7565734316555677541.post-79926725454333060522012-02-03T11:33:59.092-06:002012-02-03T11:33:59.092-06:00Calamus adspersus or basically any of their relati...Calamus adspersus or basically any of their relatives.

Carnivorous plants in general are pretty 'wicked', regardless of which connotation you choose... so.. Snakeweed (not that snakes are wicked).
